Casper29 Said: Works fine if you can line it up exactly right ( Sep. 10th 2010 )

I bought these for my husband's new iPhone. I have one, too, and needed a new screen protector. I used two of them trying to get the holes lined up properly for my husband's phone. They seem a little different than the ones I purchased from the AT&T Store. The holes seem to be a little smaller and need to be lined up exactly right and they will be fine. It works, but takes some more effort and concentration to get them on properly.

SVE Said: Apply film to screen using Packing Tape trick ( Sep. 9th 2010 )

All these screen protectors are tough to put on because you have to have them perfectly aligned when you put them on. And if you put them on wrong and attempt to reposition and do it again you will invariably get dust particles trapped. Things are dust-free and clean only for a few moments after you've cleaned the glass surface. The film has to be applied very quickly. So here's the assembly trick.

Clean the glass screen with Windex. Position the protective film with both top and bottom release layers still on. Center the film perfectly positioned on the iPhone using the home button location and glass screen edges as visual guides. Now get some packing tape - Scotch tape style clear wide adhesive tape. Apply the tape along the home button edge of the iPhone so that the tape goes from the protective film top and wraps around the bottom iPhone edge and along the back of the iPhone. Do this across the entire bottom iPhone edge. In this way you are creating a Scotch tape "hinge" so that the cover film can be pivoted away from the screen and lowered back onto the screen while still remaining perfectly aligned. This is just like a door-on-hinges motion. You can make life a little easier for peeling off the scotch tape by folding over 1/4" part on the beginning and end of the tape strip. (note: edges other than home button side will also work)

Now lift the protective screen up just enough to be able to get at the bottom film cover. Peel away the bottom release film and expose the film adhesive nearest the door hinge and press the "door" down working out the bubbles and adhering the film as you peel away the film release. You will find that the screen remains perfectly aligned and the adhesive is exposed to the air for a minimum amount of time before it is stuck to the glass. Things will be aligned and only a few easy to work out air bubbles will remain. Remove the Scotch tape "hinges". Remove the top surface film release. You are done.

Good Luck!

These took a long time to ship to me, and I honestly haven't used one yet because my current screen protector is still working just fine. So, my rating is based solely off of shipment time.

i bought it for my iphone it didn't last a day first i used to just trying to get it on then the third one didn't stick right and its impossible to get on because there are no tabs without smudging or scratching and it has too much glare

I got it only yesterday and already used 3 units. 1 was thrown away because I didn't realize iPod touch isn't identical in size to iPhone 3G... I used another one after cutting it a little bit to fit.
All in all the product was quite easy to use. The 2 small problems I had was 1. I wasn't sure which layer I should peel first - they're all clear...
Once I figured it out it was easy to install (not sure it the right phrase.. not a native English speaker, sorry), and 2. I think peeling the second protective layer is a bit difficult because there's no tab. I had to use my finger nail to release it.
All in all well worth the price, I hope it'll last.
