Question: iPhone 3G and iPod touch 3G?
( Back )
Answer #1:
If you aren't using it as a phone, think of it not as downgrading from an iPhone 3G to an iPod 2g, but upgrading from an iPod Touch 2g to an iPod touch 3g. If this is something you would do if you think of it that way, then go for it.Don't forget that restoring your iPhone software from time to time can fix all kinds of lag problems...
Answer #2:
I wouldn't necessarily consider the the iPod touch 3G a downgrade from an iPhone 3G in this case since you used the iPhone 3G like an iPod touch anyway. You'll get the faster speeds & be able to use iOS 4.0 to its potential.** Powered by Yahoo Answers
