I have an iPhone 3G, I usually get my emails pretty quick when they are sent directly to my Yahoo account. But when it comes to getting an email from a contact on Y!A or the email saying you have an answer, I have to open up the email app and wait for my emails to load for them to show up. Is there anything I can do to get them to come through right when I recieve them?

I charged my iPhone 3gs for 8 hours out of the box, plugged it into computer to register it with iTunes, recovered it from a previous back up I had of my old iPhone 3g and now it says wait for activation, this may take some time. I've searched on google and what not an people said it took upto 48 hours. I'm posting this onthe 48th hour and still no service. I know there were problems when the 3gs was first released but I only got mine like, 3 days ago! Just wondering if anyone could help me out n tell me if I've missed a step or if I can do something to speed up process...

I want to get an iPhone but I'm not sure if i should get the iPhone 3g on $49 cap/plan or the iPhone 3gs on the $49 cap/plan plus an extra $5 a month because the 3gs is worth more.
