I've been on Sprint forever and even though I use a MAC I never made the switch to the Iphone. I bought the Instinct a few weeks ago (Sprint's version of the Iphone). For a week or so I was convinced that it was a great substitute. But the more I played with it the worse it got. From the bs about the battery life, to the horrible web browsing to the poorly designed and highly inaccurate text entry function - it really sucks. I played with the 3G phone for 10 minutes and had to have it. It's god's gift to technology. It's seriously an amazing phone. Getting one was quite the Capitalist spectacle. They were sold out all over town and only the MAC Store at Pioneer place had some left. We waited in line for close to 2 hours and it was awesome watching the apple employees guard the door and keep people out. It was more awesome listening to everyone's reason as to why they should be let in. When we finally got in, the process went really quick and, like always, the Apple employees were amazing and really helpful. After I paid them all my money they handed me the box and I felt like I won something - not that I was actually spending money. When I opened it the Apple employee looked at me and said "Congratulations." Apple Uber Alles.
